Setting:
It's noon when you enter the land, nothing is moving nor making any noise. A sudden lone breeze travels through the territory. Suddenly, a charming yet dominant howl roars through the silence.
Weather:
It's going to be winter soon, the last few orange, red, and yellow leaves are falling from the tree tops. The winds are picking up and the nights are growing longer.

- History of Keo:
- The Storm Cliff pack alphas, Kaleu and Caramel, were happy. Caramel had just given birth to three beautiful pups, all of them having their unique colors. One took after her mom, with a caramel colored brown with swirls of yellow, and this one Caramel named Kismet. Another took after Kaleu, and was a fiery orange, with some red stripes on his legs. This one Kaleu named Kamar, after his deceased brother. The final pup was brown, with blue thylacine-like stripes. "This one looks almost just like my mother," Kaleu said, tears coming to his eyes. "Your mother was named Keo," Caramel said. "So let's name this fine pup Keo." Her mate nodded, and everything was well.
The pups grew bigger. When they were just yearlings, however, Storm Cliffs had to go into war against the Fiery Forest pack, who always started wars. The alphas had to leave the den often to fight. One day, a party from the Fiery Forest pack entered the den site when both alphas were away, and started a killing spree. The yearlings ran away as fast as they could, but the rivals caught up. Kamar yelled at Kismet and Keo to run, and they ran, while Kamar died fighting for their lives. However, it wasn't long before they caught up again. Kismet was captured, and she howled in pain, while a frightened Keo ran for safety. Then, another pack arrived, the Peaceful Lake pack. They destroyed the killing party of the Fiery Forest, and took Keo with them. In that pack, Keo was healed.
One day, when she opened her clear blue eyes, she found another wolf staring into her face. She blinked. The male was beautiful, with bright red markings decorating his deep blue body. His eyes were the deepest ocean blue. She felt as if her stomach had done a sudden flip. "Uh, hi?" she managed. The male smiled. "I am Caspi. The main healer of the pack sent me here to get you." He stopped, still staring. "You're beautiful." Keo could not believe her ears. "You're beautiful, too, Caspi," she said softly.
Together, they trained in the overseeing of the main healer, Shuko, a white female with a green scarf and green paws. Suddenly, one day while they were mixing love potions, Caspi said, "I love you." Keo gasped, "I love you ever so, Caspi!" The next day, they were married, the pack's traditional way. Caspi licked her face. Keo beamed. She had never felt this way. She was in love.
A few weeks passed by, and it was becoming increasingly apparent that Keo was pregnant. One day, as the pair sat beside eachother, Caspi said, "The Fiery Forest pack is going to war again." Keo gasped. "You must not go to war! You're a potion-maker, remember?" He sighed. "Yes, but we don't have enough warriors. I must-" Tears came to his eyes. "No. Keo, if I die, will you name our pup Miekel, after my mother?" Keo was in tears. "Yes." The next day, they ran out to war. Keo wanted to be by her mate, but couldn't. Shuko gave her some pain-relievers, since she was unable to make some herself.
After it was over, Keo went over to the battlefield. She found Caspi's carcasse, and lay down by him. Tears flowed. She ran away from the pack as they came to take her away. Except she ran past the pack boundaries, into no-wolves'-lands. "I will search for a new pack," Keo murmured to herself. She wandered far that day, and came to a small cave. She, upon deciding to sleep there for the night, curled up. In the night, she felt pangs of pain, and then her dearest pup was born. She gazed at her newborn, licking her clean, then allowing her to nurse. Miekel. "Miekel, you're a beautiful little pup." She was creamy brown, with red and blue stripes on her legs. She wrapped her tail around herself and her pup, then went back to sleep.
In the morning, she got up, picked up Miekel, and walked on. A few times she had to run, from a bear or another rogue. The days passed, and she got weaker and weaker, and so did her pup. Soon, she didn't have enough milk to keep Miekel alive, and the pup still couldn't eat meat. One day, Miekel died, and Keo lovingly buried her, then went on. She continued on, until she reached pack territory.
